Hiked up the beautiful Pu'u Maelieli Trail last weekend ....nice hike thru thick jungle and when you reach the top you are greeted with the most beautiful view of the Windward Coast! We were lucky to have also been greeted with a DOUBLE RAINBOW!
After watching the rainbow fade away, some storm clouds came in and it started to pour. I was hot and decided I wanted to get wet and Rudy & Brooke went inside the old WW2 bunker for shelter.
I found sitting in the rain to be so relaxing and I didnt want to leave...finally grabbed my umbrella and just sat there for quite awhile listening to the rain and birds sing...the only sounds you could hear!
The hike on the way down was slippery and muddy...it was pretty interesting...we were all muddy and laughing the whole way down!
We reached the jeep and realized we left the top down and it was drenched inside, LOL...what a day!
On the way home we saw amazing waterfalls falling off the Ko'olaus!

Had a great time with Noelle & Josh last night at an amazing location on the west side of the island that I have never been to. Its called "Loch Shorline Park" ...will definitely be going there again! It was so peaceful and serene and the moonrise and sunset were AMAZING....
